Meet Our Founder & CEO

Jia-Li Delgado didn't set out to build just another vacation rental company.

She set out to build a hospitality company that people could trust.

Before founding JĪ:HAN Hospitality, Jia spent more than 30 years leading operations within the real estate, mortgage servicing, and asset management industries. Throughout her career, she built high-performing teams, developed operational systems, improved financial performance, managed risk, and led organizations through growth and change.

Those experiences taught her something that still guides JĪ:HAN today:

Great experiences don't happen by accident.

They're created through intentional leadership, strong systems, and people who genuinely care.

In 2017, Jia brought that philosophy into hospitality by founding what would become The Palacio Properties.

What started as a small portfolio has grown into a professionally managed hospitality company serving thousands of guests throughout Arizona while expanding into hospitality advisory and strategic partnerships.

Today, JĪ:HAN serves guests, partners with apartment communities and ownership groups, and advises hospitality businesses—all guided by the same commitment to thoughtful hospitality and operational excellence.

“Hospitality is human. Systems simply make it scalable”.

She leads with intentional leadership, thoughtful systems, genuine care for people, and a relentless commitment to continuous improvement. Her expertise includes:

  • Hospitality Operations
  • Short-Term Rental Strategy
  • Business Operations & Leadership
  • Asset Management
  • Revenue Strategy
  • Operational Excellence
  • Risk Management & Compliance
  • Process Improvement
  • Team Development
  • Artificial Intelligence Implementation with Responsible Guardrails

In 2025, a cancer diagnosis reminded Jia that time is precious and that hospitality isn't just about providing a place to stay — it's about creating spaces where people can rest, recover, reconnect, celebrate, and make meaningful memories.

Jia holds an MBA and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified, but believes the greatest lessons come from real-world experience—not textbooks.

Her leadership philosophy is simple:

Take care of people. Build strong systems. Never stop improving.
